William H. Knop 70, of Coal City passed away on March 5, 2013 at his home.

He was a lifelong resident of the Joliet and Coal City area. Bill retired from Com Ed after 35 years of service. He was also a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, and a loving papa and dad.

He is survived by his wife, Janice, four children; Lisa (Scott) Heren, Christopher Knop, Ami (Mike) Ullrich. Bill (Jen) Knop, three step children , nine grandchildren, five step grandchildren, a great granddaughter, a sister Willa Jean Aldworth, and his dog Dupont.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Corinne (nee Eggert) Knop, parents Louise and William Knop, a sister Mary Lou Hinspeter, two brothers in law Don Hinspeter and Vern Aldworth,

Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 -11:30 am on Saturday March 9, 2013 at Ferrari Funeral Services(corner of Spring Rd and Ferrari Dr.) in Coal City.
