Thomas Harry Norys 56, of Symerton, IL passed away on Monday June 18, 2012 at The Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, after a six week illness at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Joliet. He was born on July 26, 1955 in Chicago, IL.

He is survived by his wife of seventeen years Mary Norys of Symerton, a daughter Melissa (Jeff) of Pontiac, IL, three stepsons Jeffrey (Debra) Pearson of Plainfield, Christopher Pearson of Indiana, Joshua (Blaine) Benge of Joliet. Six granddaughters, Alexandria, Haley, Payne, Shelby, Cloe, and Abby, five grandsons, Tyler, Marshall, Trent, Gregory, and Riley, Two brothers Barney (Judy) of Mississippi, Richie of Cicero, three sisters Shirley of Chicago, Alice (Winfred) of South Carolina, and Sally of California, two sister in laws Judi Howell of Wilmington, and Nancy Findlay of Coal City, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday June 26, 2012 at The Ferrari Funeral Chapel (1044 Ferrari Drive) in Coal City, Reverend Mark Moon will officiate. A funeral luncheon will immediately follow at The 1st Presbyterian Church (301 North Kankakee Street (Wilmington, IL)
