Theresa "Teri" Lynn Middleton, age 60, passed away surrounded by her family at her home in Coal City, IL. on May 1, 2021 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on July 24, 1960 in Joliet, IL. to Wayne and Patricia (nee Santerelli) Breneman. She spent her younger years with her family in New Lenox before moving to the Coal City Area. She graduated from Coal City High School with the Class of 1978. Teri married Paul A. Middleton on June 21, 1980 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Teri enjoyed volunteering with her community! She was active with many of her children's school functions and was also a Girl Scout Leader. She was very involved with her church, the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Braidwood. She served on the Parish Council and was involved in many fund raisers. Teri was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Paul A. Middleton; her children, Paul C. (Christina) Middleton, Jennifer (Naithan) Richards and Jeffrey (Cailey) Middleton; her eleven grandchildren, Savannah, Sebastian, Kaylin, Logan, Pandora, Leviathan, Azazel, Lysander, Jayden, Jase and Jaylee; her sisters, Sue (Ron) Rochnowski and Sheryl (Mike) Maloney; her brothers, Patrick (Mary Jo) Breneman and Mike (Jill) Breneman; her brother in law, Philip "Leo" (Pam) Middleton; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Patricia Breneman; her sister, Dawn and her grandchildren, Jareth, Erik, Aurora, Alastor and Jaxdyn.

Memorials in Teri's name may be directed to the family or to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL. 60431.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Ferrari Funeral Services, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL. 60416.  Due to Covid 19, facemasks and social distancing will be required for the visitation and also the funeral service the following morning.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 245 South Kankakee Street, Coal City, IL. 60416 with Rev. Raed Bader officiating.  Burial will follow at Braceville/Gardner Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Adam Breneman, Mike Breneman, Patrick Breneman, Cameron Shields, Jason Maloney and Joe Santerelli.
