Stacie J. Walters, age 60, of Coal City, IL. passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the Salem Village Nursing and Rehab Center in Joliet.

She was born on June 27, 1961 in Joliet, IL. to Hector and Shirley (nee Roy) Monbrum.  Stacie was raised in the area and graduated from Coal City High School Class of 1979. She belonged to the Messiah Lutheran Church in Joliet. Stacie's daughter and grandchildren were the joys of her life. She enjoyed traveling with her family, most recently to the Wisconsin Dells with her daughter, Jamie and her grandchildren, Julian and Paisley.

She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Walters of Coal City; her grandchildren, Julian, Paisley and November; her sisters, Randy (Jim) Pruitt of TX., Nora (Dick) Moen of MN. and Holly (Jim) Skinner of Morris and her brother Paul (Cindy) Monbrum of Morris. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
