Shirley J. McSpadden 68, of coal city passed away on Monday May 10, 2010 at the Morris Hospital. She was born on May 15, 1941 in Onarga, IL

She was a school bus driver for the past 20 plus years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and loved shopping.

She is survived by two children Julia (James) McCord and Samuel Mc Spadden Jr. of Coal City. Mother Ruth Greenan , Eight grandchildren ; Kimberly (Mike) Pacione, Kristin (Mike) Barrett, Michael (Julii) McSpadden Samuel McSpadden III, Christopher (Brandi) McSpadden, Kyle Mc Spadden, Krista Castellanos, and Carol Thomas. Nine great grandchildren Amber, Adara, Ashden, and Alyssa Barrett, Gabriel, Katarina, and Starlit McSpadden, Faith Hoye, and Triston Mc Spadden, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her husband Samuel Mc Spadden Sr.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday May 14, 2010 at The Ferrari Funeral Chapel (1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City) Rev. Avery Wilson will officiate with interment in Braceville Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 pm at Ferrari Funeral Services (Corner of Spring Rd. and Ferrari Drive) in Coal City.
