Shawna Lynn Cuddy, age 44, of Morris, IL passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Morris Hospital.

She was born in Streator, IL on November 16, 1979 to Richard and Donna (nee Stadel) Kepplinger. She grew up in Gardner with her siblings, graduating from Gardner High School class of 1998 before attending Joliet Junior College. Shawna married Shane Cuddy on September 6, 2003 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Campus. Together they share two sons. Shawna formerly worked at Jacobs Engineering and Brown and Root Industrial Services. Currently, she worked as an office manager for Worley Consulting.

Shawna enjoyed camping with her family and friends. She was a lover of animals and was known to bring home a stray when she found one. Most of all, Shawna was a devoted mother and was an enthusiastic fan at their sporting activities.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Shane Cuddy; her two sons, Private Layne Cuddy and Lance Cuddy; her mother, Donna Kepplinger; her sister, Kristi (Doug) Phillips; her brother, Kevin Kepplinger; her nephews, Landyn, Grady and Keaton Phillips and Colin Meece; her niece, Victoria Kepplinger; her father- in- law and mother- in- law, Denny and Michelle Cuddy; her mother- in- law, Brenda ( the late Bob) Chellson; and her sister-in-law and brother- in- law, Kiedra and Craig Meece.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Kepplinger.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Ferrari Funeral Services, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL 60416.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, October 21, 2024 also at Ferrari Funeral Services with Pastor Jan Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Campus.

Pall Bearers will be: Doug Phillips, Craig Meece, Colin Meece, Kevin Kepplinger, Jeff Lopatka and Craig Mathison.
