Sharon S. Thacher, 60, of Goose Lake passed away on Monday October 26, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. She was born on August 19, 1949 in Hinsdale, IL.
To the late James A. and Sophia (Mosley) Smith.

After attending Downers Grove South High School, she attended college at Joliet Junior College and Governors State University. Sharon married Lee Thacher on November 7, 1967. She was a teacher for 19 years and was employed by the Joliet Public School District at the Kennedy Center.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lee Thacher of Goose Lake, son Jeff Thacher of Diamond, IL. daughter Jennifer (Raymond) Petric of Elwood, Il.
4 grandchildren, Keegan and Cameron Thacher and Ayden and Ethan Petric, sister Nancy (Gary) Gradows of Downers Grove and brothers David (Sen) Goddard of Woodstock, Ga. and Scott (Patti) Smith of Downers Grove, Il.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
