Jayson G. Brandon, age 43, of South Wilmington, IL. passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2021.

He was born on August 14, 1977 in Joliet, IL. to Gregory Brandon and Charmaine Brandon Galloway.  He grew up in the Wilmington area before moving to Coal City where he attended high school. Jayson married Jennifer Craterfield on August 10, 2013 at the Kankakee State Park. He was a Union Carpenter with Local #174. Jayson enjoyed camping and grilling. He loved spending time with his daughter, Elaina. He was a hard working man and he traveled all around for his job.

Jayson is survived by his wife of 7 years, Jennifer Brandon; his daughter, Elaina Brandon of Morris; his father, Gregory (Kathy) Brandon of WY. and his step-father, Joseph Galloway of TN.; his sisters, Mary (Bill) Vlahos, Tammie (Robert) Blatti and Nikki Brandon and his step-sisters, Shellise Strong and Dawn Borello.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Charmaine Galloway and his grandparents, Darrell and Mary Brandon, Charles and Maxine Ponikvar and Arthur and Marie Florian.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A Celebration of Life will take place on July 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Large Pavillion at the Coal City Area Club.
