Sandra S. Seeger, 70 of Coal City passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at Regency Care Center in Morris.
Born January 11, 1945 in Kent, WA., Sandra was a daughter of Earnest and Lucille (Perry) Gibson. She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in both Hillside and Coal City. She was a very involved member of her church. Sandra was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Lisa (Rick) Johnson and Denise Seeger; grandchildren: Amanda, Jacquline, Brandon, Jenessa, and Julia; two great-grandchildren: Tanum and Aaron; sisters Dixie (Marv) Blaton, Darlene Vestre and a brother Gary (Millie) Gibson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carl Seeger and a brother Earnest Gibson.
Funeral service will be on Sunday, July 12 at 4:00 p.m. at the Ferrari Funeral Service Chapel (the corner of Spring Rd. and Ferrari Drive, Coal City). Pastor Jan Chandler from the Church of Hope, Gardner will officiate. Visitation will also be on Sunday from 1:00 until the time of the funeral service. Cremation rites will be accorded.
