Sandra Sue Bennett "Sandy", age 73 of Morris, IL, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 16, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on November 14, 1948 to Denward and Robertine Little in Weeksbury , KY.

Sandy worked most of her life in management and excelled at it. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Her interests included working in her yard, riding the Harley with her husband, and she loved decorating her home for Christmas. But most of all, she dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren and loved throwing holiday dinners for her family. Anyone who met her would describe her as a "firecracker" with a big heart.

Survived by her loving children, Dawn Bennett-Siwek, Sean (Diane) Bennett, and Shannon Bennett-Rutkowski.  Also survived by six beautiful grandchildren, Raven (Hershel) Bennett, Jake and Brooke Bennett, Ryan, Aidan, and Jonathan Rutkowski; and her mother Robertine Little, as well as numerous siblings, most notable Robin (Barbara) Little, and Kathy Thomas. Also surviving is a dear friend Brian DeMuth.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Garry, in 2016 after 48 years of marriage, her father, Denward, loving sister Carol Buis and brother, Harry "Skip" Little.

Cremation rites will be accorded

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Ferrari Funeral Services, 1044 Ferrari Drive in Coal City. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7 pm at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel.  Pastor Jan Chandler will officiate. Online guest book available at www.ferrarifuneral.com

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lightways Hospice as the care they provided at the end of Sandy's battle with lung cancer was amazing.
