Ronald J. McKinnon (Ron), 64 of Goose Lake passed away on Sunday August 9, 2009 at The Morris Hospital. He was born on April 12, 1945 in Louisiana MO.

He was a member of the Wilmington Moose and the Goose Lake Association Club. He enjoyed Fishing and the Chicago Cubs. Also Former leader of the band southern comfort.

He is survived by his wife Myrtle (Dianne) McKinnon, five children James L. McKinnon, David J. McKinnon, Michelle (Joe) Todd, Angela (Paul) Opyd, Christopher (Holly) McKinnon, a sister Debbie Limon, and numerous great grandchildren, niece's nephew's cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mother Annabelle Tyler; father Jerry Lerfald, and a brother John Lerfald.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday August 13, 2009 at Ferrari Funeral Chapel in Coal City, interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL at 11:30 with full military honors.
