Ronald H. Breen 79, of Coal City, IL passed away on June 17, 2012 at The Walnut Grove Village in Morris, IL. He was born on July 19, 1932 in Joliet IL to the late Henry and Dorothy (Eungard) Breen.
Ronald worked for Joliet Caterpillar for 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and woodworking. He also served in the army earning an occupational medal and a national defense metal in Germany.
He is survived by his wife Wanda(Reardanz)Breen whom he married on June 20, 1953 in Richie, IL , two children Gary Breen, of Halls TN. and Diane (John) Seaward of Coal City; seven grandchildren Jason, Don, Jim Breen of Antioch, IL Shaun Seaward of Diamond, IL , Erin Seaward Hiatt (Neil) of Provo Utah and Kristen and Anna Seaward of Coal City. Five great grandchildren, a brother Laverne (Judy) Breen of Wilmington, IL A brother in law Henry Hendel of Joliet, And numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Ronald David Breen in 1988. and a sister Jacquelyn Elaine Hendel
A memorial service will be held on Monday June 25, 2012 at 11:00 am In the Ferrari Funeral Chapel (1044 Ferrari Drive) in Coal City, Pastor Ron Taylor of the Island City Baptist Church will officiate with inurnment in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington, IL.
