Roberta M. James 94, of Dwight and formerly of Coal City, passed away on Saturday November 9, 2013 at The Morris Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1918 in Freeport Indiana to the Late Albert and Sue Carlisle.

She was a member of The Coal City United Methodist Church,


She is survived by, two sons Laurence A. James, and Gerald W. (Darlene A. Reardanz) James. Four grandchildren Gerald W. James Jr., Kenneth D. James, Christine A (James) Dooley, Addie L. (Mathew) Dennis, six great grandchildren Thomas Dennis, Samuel Dennis, Emily Dooley, Ellen Dooley, Jacob James, and Nicholas James, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in Death by her Parents; her husband of 74 years Edward A. James on (December 2, 2011), a brother Alfred Carlisle and a sister Marietta Henke

Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 11, 2013 in the Ferrari Funeral Chapel (1044 Ferrari Drive) in Coal City at 11:00 am Dr. Thomas Logsdon will officiate with interment in Braceville Gardner Cemetery.
Visitation will also be on Monday from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Ferrari Funeral Services (corner of Spring Rd and Ferrari Drive) in Coal City. Online guest book available at www.ferrarifuneral.com
