Richard (Todd) Lightner of Coal City, passed away on Sunday March 6, 2011 at The Morris Hospital He was born on January 04, 1956 in Streator, IL to the late Russell and Laura Lightner.

He loved spending time with his family and children, also enjoyed music, cooking, traveling, and reading. He was a member of The Open Bible Church in Streator.
And he was proud of being a former Marine.

He is survived by his wife Jeannie Lightner, two sons LJ and JT Lightner, of Coal City, and a daughter Holly Lightner of Wenona, IL. : A sister Laurie (Lightner) ( Rich) Kerr of Bowling Green KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Levi Lightner a sister Carole Lightner Eutsey, a brother Lawrence (Buzz) Russell Lightner, an infant brother Butchie Lightner.


Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday March 10, 2011 at The Ferrari Funeral Chapel (corner of Spring Rd. and Ferrari Dr.) in Coal City, Rev. Bill Niebuhr of the Open Bible Church , Officiating with interment in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery In Elwood. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 10:00 Am until the Time of Service.
