Raymond Zawrazky 77, of Coal City, IL passed away on Monday April 18, 2011, at his home. He was born in Braidwood, IL on October 31, 1933 to the late Julius and Julia Zawrazky. He served in The Army during the Korean War, was employed by Caterpillar for over 40 years until his retirement in 1992, a NuMark Credit Union board member for 27 years. A member of the Braidwood Masonic Lodge #704, a member of The International association of machinists and aerospace workers, also enjoyed gardening and working around the yard.
He is survived by his Wife Charlene (Pat) Zawrazky,whom he wed on April 18, 1959; three children Kirk (Colleen) Zawrazky, Keith (Karen) Zawrazky, and Kevin (Natalie) Zawrazky, four grandchildren Erik, Tracy, Frank and Nicolette, .father in law Chuck Girot, three step grandchildren Brandy (Mike) Bruell, Patrick Gregory, and Renae Gregory, five great grandchildren Matthew and Michael Bruell, Christina, Angelina, and Alaina Morales, Nephew Gary Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Sylvia Cooper, mother in law Mona Girot,
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 20, 2011 from Ferrari Funeral Services at 9:00 am tot The Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Coal City for a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial Father Robert Noesen will officiate with interment in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington, IL.
