Peggy Novak Wisniewski, age 72 years, of Mendota, IL. passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 7, 1948 in Chicago, Il. to Bernard and Dorothy (nee Pawlowski) Wisniewski.  Peggy enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach. She was an animal lover and she loved to dance. She enjoyed shopping and going to garage sales. Most of all, Peggy was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Nichole Theres-Koerner, Darlene (Sam) Chiavola, Tom (Cheryl) Theres and John (Kim) Theres; her 10 grandchildren: Roni Dodd, Maranda Dodd, Sara Koerner, Amanda (Alaa Jouda) Tomany, Chloe Theres, Brandon Theres, Nadya and Nick Chiavola and Caleb and Kassandra Theres; her great-grandchildren: Calvin and Joelle Chiavola and Laith Jouda; and her companion, Charles Gordon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Dorothy Wisniewski and her brother, Bernard Wisniewski.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL. 60416 with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel.
