Pauline Dearth, 99 of Coal City passed away on Sunday January 22, 2012 at Morris Senior Living (Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation) she was born on July 08, 1912 in Coal City, IL to the late Albert and Mary Bernhard.
She was a life long resident of Coal City. Pauline was educated in Coal City Schools, a 87 year member of The Coal City United Methodist Church, She retired from The U.S. Postal Service, then traveled extensively for several years before returning to part time work in several area restaurants ;later retiring from Weits Café in Morris at the age of 84.
She enjoyed quilting, spending time with family, and was a life long White Sox Fan.
Survived by two daughters, Claudette (Eric) Muetlein, of Beaver Dam , WI and Mary Farrell of Coal City, two grandsons Danny (Debbie) Burger of Seneca, IL and Paul (Michelle) Muetlein of Three Lakes , WI, a granddaughter Melissa (Jeff) Stafford of Morris, Daughter in Law Judy Farmer of Morris, . Eight Great grandchildren Ken Burger of Seneca, Sarah Cameron of Ottawa, and Lisa Burger of Joliet, Roger, Isabelle, Olivia, Sylvia, and William Stafford of Morris,. Two great granddaughters Autumn Cameron of Ottawa, and Ava Muetlein of Three Lakes, WI
Proceeded in Death by her parents, husbands Claude Farmer and Wilbert Dearth, Daughter Loretta Farmer and Son Claude Farmer, two grandsons Terry Burger and Charles Farmer and a great grandson Aaron Burger, a son in law Roger Farrell, and two special cousins Herman and Evelyn Guiney.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday January 28, 2012 at The Ferrari Funeral Chapel Dr. Thomas Logsdon will officiate with inurnment in Braceville Gardner Cemetery.
