Patrick J. Miller, age 58, of Wilmington, IL., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Morris Hospital.

He was born February 10, 1962 in Oak Park, IL. to James L. and Lorraine M. (nee Laas) Miller. Patrick grew up in Forest Park and graduated from Proviso East High School Class of 1981 in Maywood. He married Audrey Russotti on September 15, 1984 and together happily raised their family of three children. He worked his last 14 years for Sulzer Pumps Inc. as the lead mechanic.

Patrick was an amazing husband to his wife of 36 years, Audrey F. Miller; devoted father to Patrick (PJ) Miller, Megan (Ryan) Wharrie and Adam J. Miller; Grandfather to Thomas J. and Tyler J. Miller; loving brother to Geraldine Miller (the late Terry) Martin and Wayne L. (Christine) Miller and caring uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Patrick was a devoted family man who beamed with pride when he spoke of his children. He was easy-going with a great sense of humor and the biggest sweet tooth. Patrick had the ability and patience to fix or build just about anything. He loved traveling with his family to see new places or old friends.  Recently, Patrick and Audrey bought a R.V. and went on adventures around the country.  He was a hunter from a young age and later shared that passion with his sons. Patrick took great pride in keeping a very clean and organized home. He enjoyed his vacuum as much as his sweets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lorraine Miller.

Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2020 from 3:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm at Ferrari Funeral Services, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, Il. 60416.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
