Patricia M. Reece, age 86, of Minooka, IL. passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Heritage Health in Dwight.

She was born on October 27, 1935 in Chicago, IL. to Earl and Margret (nee Illig) Copeland. She grew up in the Chicago area and attended schools there including the Chicago Vocational High School. Patricia married Donald L. Reece on April 28, 1956 and became a devoted homemaker and mother to their three children. She belonged to Little People of America District 6. Patricia enjoyed crafting and could quilt, crochet, knit and embroider.

She is survived by her children, Michael L. (Kathy) Reece, Blue Springs, MO., Phillip E. Reece of Morris, and Penny J. (Scott) Brydges Las Vegas, NV.; four grandchildren, Stephanie L. (Joseph) Palermo, Craig M. Reece, Jade N. Mellen and Zachary M. Mellen; and five great grandchildren, Arianna Palermo, Michael Palermo, Kadence Palermo, Adam Reece and Rowan Reece.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Donald L. Reece in 2016; her parents, Margaret and Earl Copeland and her brothers, Richard Copeland and Charles Copeland.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Ferrari Funeral Services, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL. 60416 from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Pastor Vicki Reece will officiate. Private burial will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
