Nancy J. Barry, age 71, of Morris, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones at her home.

She was born on February 25, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Arnold and LaVerne (nee Graffy) Clausen. Nancy attended St. Gall Catholic Grade School and graduated from Lourdes High School.  She raised her family, moving several times before settling in the Morris area with her longtime significant other, Greg Domaleczny. Nancy worked in medical billing for Affiliated Radiologists and as a cook and bartender at The Cordial Inn for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, making home improvements and shopping.

She is survived by her significant other of 30 years, Greg Domaleczny; her children, Matthew McCord and Holly Dixon and her seven grandchildren, David, Kimberly (Nicole Larkin), Brianna, Ryan, Mason, Evan and Austin. Also surviving are her brothers, Larry Clausen and Dan Clausen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and LaVerne Clausen; her son, Danny McCord and Steven McCord in infancy, her sister, Bonnie Clausen, her cousin, Stephen Meyer and her best friend, Gayle Sorensen.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2650 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL 60435. A Reception will be held later that day from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the VFW in Brookfield, 8844 Ogden Ave., Brookfield, IL 60513,with food being served
