Maureen S. Davis-Fioritto, age 81, of Coal City, IL passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

She was born on July 3, 1944 in Joliet, IL to Omer and Catherine (nee Cantwell) Myers. She later moved to Coal City in 1974 and continued raising her family there. Maureen enjoyed being a homemaker. She spent her time decorating her home and tending to her garden. She liked to shop, sew, crochet, travel and read as creative outlets. Above all, Maureen was devoted to her family, especially relishing her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard “Lenny” Fioritto; her children, Amber Mikula, Angela (the late David) Stirbis, John (Sue) Mikula, Joseph (Tina) Mikula, and James Mikula; one step-son, Troy Fioritto; her ten grandchildren, Ashley (Rusty) Fosnaugh, Kourtnie Huddleston, Kammiroen (Phillip) Reilly, Chayancze Stirbis, John Mikula, Joshua (Paola) Mikula, Caitlin Mikula, Loren Mikula, Corey (Megan) Mikula, and Kelsey (Ryan) Boese; her ten great-grandchildren, Blake and Luke Fosnaugh, Brooke Huddleston, Creed, Blare and Wrenn Reilly, Lydia and Zoei Mikula, and Nora and Tucker Boese; her sister, Catherine (the late Rick) Richter; her sisters-in-law, Shirley (the late Dennis) Myers, Cathie Ferrari, Mary Trevino, Theresa (Richard) Willis, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dennis Myers and her sister, Glenda Myers.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 pm at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL 60416. Deacon William Dunn will officiate. A private burial will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
