Marlene F. Breneman (Day) nee Carnaghi 74, of Coal City passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet. She was born on October 6, 1937 in Joliet IL to the late Francis "Tote" and Elva Carnaghi.
She was an avid Garage Saler, Bingo player, lotto lover and loved her dog Benji. Also a Coal City Food Pantry volunteer and board member. She attended St Frances Academy.
She is survived by her two sons Mike (Ellan) Day and Mark (Robin) Day, two grandchildren Chris Day, and Amber ((Robert) Powell , and two great grandchildren. also surviving are a brother in law Tony (Linda) Santerelli, a sister in law Char (the late Bernie) Santerelli, and best friend (adopted sister) Judy Hittle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Les Day whom she married on June 30 1957 and died on October 30, 1986 , then married Wayne Breneman on April 26, 1990 whom also preceded her in death. On 02-27-2005
Funeral Services will be held in the Ferrari Funeral Chapel on Sunday December 11, 2011 at 3:00 pm with Dr. Thomas Logston of The Coal City United Methodist Church will officiate.
