Linda L. (Ulivi) Shain 69, of Coal City passed away on Tuesday March 22, 2011 at her home. She was born on February 10, 1942 in Morris, IL to the late Gwendolyn (Meredith) and Paul Ulivi.

She is survived by her husband Cleve Shain, a brother Ray Byers, and a sister June (Don) Berta, four children Gwen (Dave) Vacca, Randy (Cindy) Shain, Jeff Shain, Mindy (Rey) Solis, nine grandchildren ; Jordyn Vacca, Sanjel Solis, Hannah Batuzich, Marissa Solis, Ava Solis, Kyle , Noah, Melanie, and Emily Shain, and numerous nieces and nephews .

She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant sister Gwendolyn.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 25, 2011 from Ferrari Funeral Services at 9:00 am to The Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church for a 9:30 am Mass of Christian burial, father Robert Noesen will officiate with interment in Braceville Gardner Cemetery in Braceville.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Ferrari Funeral Services (corner of Spring Rd. and Ferrari Drive.) in Coal City online guest book available at www.ferrarifuneral.com of phone (815) 634-4040 for information.
