Kevin M. Hastings, age 55 years, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Coal City, IL. on Monday, August 24, 2020.

Kevin was born on March 14, 1965 in Chicago, IL. to Timothy and Judith (nee Lehner) Hastings. He married Margaret Quinlivan on August 30, 1986. Together they had four daughters and raised them in the Coal City area. Kevin was a doting husband, father and papa. He was an avid animal lover, fisherman and Chicago White Sox fan.

His is survived by his wife of 34 years, Margaret (Quinlivan) Hastings; his four daughters, Christina (John) Kloski, Samantha (Jason) Waldron, Brittany (Steve) Beverley and Reilly Hastings; his beloved granddaughters, Kylie and Madelyn Kloski; his mother, Judith Drexel and his sisters, Mary Ellen (Tom) Sweeney and Caroline (Joe) Buck.

He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Hastings and his brother, Timothy Hastings Jr.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation in Kevin's name to Just Animals in Mazon.

A private family Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Joliet, IL.
