Kevin Michael Anderson, 27 of Champaign, IL. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 23, 2017.

Kevin was born in Joliet, IL. on August 18, 1990 to Bruce Anderson and Mary Ann (Melcarek) Jones. He was a graduate of Minooka High School. He then graduated from Joliet Junior College and Illinois State University earning a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Kevin enjoyed many types of music. He taught himself to play several instruments including the drums and guitar. He was a good person with a loving heart.

He is survived by his parents Mary Ann (Steven) Jones of Joliet, IL. and Bruce (Bobbi) Anderson of Coal City, IL. ; his brother Andrew (Danielle) Anderson of Woodridge, IL.; his aunts and uncles John Melcarek of AZ., Theresa Melcarek of Hammond, IN., Joseph (Sharon) Koch of IN., Barbara (Bob) Winkle, IN., Rick (Lois) Anderson of Spokane, WA., Carol (Craig) Levy of Correles N.M., Ken (Maureen) Anderson of Tinley Park, IL., and Bob Anderson of Dalton, IL.; also surviving are numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents John Melcarek, Alfreda and Matthew Koch and Emil and Leona Anderson.

Memorials may be made in Kevin's name to the Rosecrance Treatment Centers.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel (corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive) in Coal City, IL.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
