Kelsey Marie Allison, 18, of Braidwood, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 in Morris.

She was born on December 20, 1997 to Christopher Allison and Jennifer Steele. She was currently a student at Wilmington High School. Kelsey had many interests and goals. She had a passion for drawing. As the sister of a child with a handicap, she decided that after graduation she wanted to pursue a career that would enable her to guide and help children with disabilities. She had a very close relationship with her siblings Natalie, Katy and Isaac.

Kelsey is survived by her father and step-mother Christopher and Dorthea Allison of Braidwood; her mother Jennifer Steele of IN.; four siblings; paternal grandmother Leanne Minnick of Joliet and maternal grandmother Norma Steele. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Minnick and her maternal grandfather Robert Steele.

Memorials may be directed to Kelsey's family for help with funeral expenses.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Ferrari Funeral Services (corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive) with funeral service immediately following at 7:30 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Hodges officiating.
