Keith Allen Ramsey, age 57, of Braidwood, IL. passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 28, 2021 after a battle with cancer.

He was born on January 20, 1964 in Morris, IL. to James L. and June L. (nee Watson) Ramsey. He graduated from Coal City High School. Keith married Delberta Ramsey on October 25, 2002 at their home in Braidwood. He worked in maintenance at Chicago Aerosol, Shadow Lakes and Sony among several other places. Keith loved working in his garage. He was a very talented musician. There was not an instrument he couldn't play or a song he couldn't sing. If he didn't know how, he would practice until he figured it out. Most of all, Keith was a loving grandfather. He was loved by all.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Del; his daughter, Roxanne Ramsey of Russellville, KY.; his son, Jason (Amber) Couch of Wilmington; his sister, Tina Wielding of OK.; his brothers, Donnie Ramsey and Chris Ramsey both of Auburn, KY. ; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Ramsey of Taylorville and Pam Thomas of Illiopolis. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ash Couch, Ean Couch, Carson Chapman and Lily Clinard, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Ramsey; his mother, June Ramsey; his sister Angela Burger and his brother Randy Ramsey.

Memorials in Keith's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the ALS Association.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Due to COVID-19, there will be no public funeral services.
