Keegan N. Kenney, age 25, of Goose Lake, IL. passed away at her home on Thursday, March 26, 2020.

Keegan was born on September 23, 1994 in Virginia Beach, VA. to Terry Johnson and David Kenney. She attended Coal City schools graduating with the Class of 2013. Keegan had a passion for music and enjoyed singing and dancing. She was an animal lover who also liked all things that are shiny. Keegan loved laughter and big hugs. Her laugh could be heard for miles. And despite all things, she was joyful.

She is survived by her mother, Terry (Aaron) Squires; her father David Kenney, a sister Devon (Jim) Wdovech and soon to be Baby E.; a brother Brody Squires; grandparents Rose Gonnam and Sandy Johnson; aunts Tammy (Brent) Edmunson, Patty Aardsma, Cristine (David) Prasczewicz; uncle Michael (Beth) Gonnam and many, many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Wally Johnson, Robert Kenney and Richard "Mike" Gonnam.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for later disbursement.

In light of the current COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date.
