Kathryn C. "Cheri" Redfearn , 67, of Diamond passed away Thursday, August 24, 2016 at her home.

She was born November 3, 1948 in Joliet IL. to Fredrick "Bill" and Regina (Gallagher) Redfearn. She worked with the Illinois State Police District 5 Joliet as a telecommunicator/ supervisor until her retirement. She enjoyed going to Disney World in Florida twice yearly. She loved to read and enjoyed cooking and baking.

Cheri is survived by her sister, Rocky Redfearn of Diamond; Sergio N. Oceguera; an aunt and uncle Tom and Delores Gallagher of Ft. Myers, FL. and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Regina Redfearn.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no service at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to Defenders of Wildlife (preservation for wolves).

Arrangements are entrusted to Ferrari Funeral Services of Coal City.
