Obituary

June Ellyn Trotter, 89, of Coal City, IL. passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017. She was born to Frank and Emma (Cunat) Machovec in Chicago, on June 12, 1928. She married the love of her life Arthur Trotter on October 1, 1949 and they were married for 67 years.

June and Art lived all their married life in Coal City, worshipping at New Hope Presbyterian Church. Before children, June was a teacher at the Franklin School in Morris and Coal City Elementary School. In earlier years June enjoyed her bridge clubs, Pot Luck Group, Morning Circle, puzzles, delivering Meals on Wheels and Home Extention. She loved sports, especially the Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, and tennis.

She and Art loved to travel. They traveled to 50 states and made it to 5 continents. Many wonderful vacations were spent with friends and family. They spent 26 years wintering in Sarasota, Florida. Her true love and joy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

June is survived by her husband Arthur Trotter; five children: Andrea (Dominic) Pantaleone, Sarasota, FL.; Andrew (Jane) Trotter, Elk Grove Village; David (Debbie) Trotter, Wheaton; James (Renee') Trotter, Aurora; and Alicia (Paul) O'Keefe, Morris; 13 Grandchildren: Steven (Jessica) Trotter, Elizabeth (Andrew) Hoffman, Timothy (Meaghan) Pantaleone, Joanne Nick, Holly (fiancé Donald Deutschlander) Trotter, Bradley (Hannah) Trotter, Lauren (Joshua) Kaluzny, Michael O'Keefe, Kerry Trotter, Nicole Klecka, Adam Trotter, Rachel Klecka, and Danielle Trotter; plus 6 Great-Grandchildren Ryan, Alison, Kevin, Camden, Ian and Jack.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother and sister-in-law Frank and Marilyn Machovec Jr.

A celebration of her life memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Hope Presbyterian Church, Coal City with Pastor Mark Hughey officiating. Family will receive visitors from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m.

Memorials can be made to the New Hope Presbyterian Church or Joliet Area Community Hospice. A special thank you to June's wonderful loving caregivers Char, Rebecca, Lisa, and Becky, Candlelight Home Health and Joliet Area Community Hospice.
