June Marie Benge, 86, of Coal City passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Coal City on November 3, 1925 to the late Frank and Lena Anselmo. She Married Earl Benge on June 5, 1949.

June enjoyed hand sewn projects, flowers, cooking, and baking which she then distributed to family and neighbors. She thoroughly enjoyed her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren

She is survived by a daughter Linda (Leonard) Friddle of Coal City, two grandchildren Shawnna (Donnie) Brantley of Piper City, Leonard Jr. (Mindy) Friddle of Braceville, three great-grandchildren Michael and Alyssa Brantley, and Pearl Friddle. A brother Frank (Jane) Anselmo of Coal City, her special phone buddy and Cousin Shelby Matuszewski and numerous nieces' nephews' cousins, and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Earl Benge in 2009, and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday May 18, 2012 at The Ferrari Funeral Chapel (corner of Spring Rd. and Ferrari Drive). Father Robert Noesen will officiate with interment in Braceville Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 pm at Ferrari Funeral Services (1044 Ferrari Drive) in Coal City.
