Judith A. Vacca Powell, 74, of Coal City passed away on Sunday morning, December 11, 2016 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris.

Judith was born January 7, 1942 in Joliet, IL. to Dominick and Agnes (Ryan) Vacca. She married Eugene Powell in 1970 in Morris. She worked for many years in Quality Control at Brownie Products in Gardner. She always enjoyed a good get together and going fishing with her husband. She always caught the most fish.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Eugene; a son Keith (Dulcie) Powell of Seattle WA., and two sisters Mary Ellen (Melvin) Payne and Agnes Flint, both of Coal City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy.

Memorials may be directed to Judith's family.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14th at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel (corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive) with Father Ed Howe officiating. Burial will be at Braceville/Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
