Judith P. Ferrari, age 84 of Coal City, IL passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Morris Hospital.

She was born on September 20,1939 in Chicago to Joseph and Mildred (nee Holl) Patrick. Her family later moved to Joliet where she attended school, graduating from St. Francis High School.  After graduation, Judy worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in physical therapy.  She married Ronald J. Ferrari on September 14, 1963. She then devoted her life to being a homemaker and raising their two children.

Judy took pride in having a clean and organized home. She was a devoted grandmother, and was known affectionately to her grandchildren as "Grandma Choo Choo". Judy enjoyed playing cards with Uncle Geno and her granddaughter, Renee. She also enjoyed listening to records with all different types of music.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ronald Ferrari; her children, Patricia (James) Strong of Plainfield and Michael J. (Eileen) Ferrari of Geneva and her grandchildren, Renee Strong and Ronan Ferrari and her step-grandchild, Evan Strong of Waialua, HI.

Memorial donations in Judy's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am on Thursday, November 30, 2023 until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Ferrari Funeral Services, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL 60416. Deacon William Dunn will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Braidwood.
