Joseph M. Corneglio, age 72, of South Wilmington, IL. passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, January 29, 2021.

He was born on October 5, 1948 in Joliet, IL. to Joseph J. and Milly (Andrewscavage) Corneglio. He was a long time resident of South Wilmington. Joseph enjoyed his spare time hunting and trap shooting. He belonged to many clubs including the Illinois Rifle Association of which he was a longtime member. Joseph had been known by his nickname "Tokyo ".  He was a laborer for 50 years with Local # 75. He was very special and once meeting him you would remember him.

Joseph was loved by many, including his daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Pavlis; and his  cousins , John (Nicole) Corneglio and their son, Joey and John (Jenna) and Chuck (Heather) Harvey. Also included are longtime friends that helped with his daily needs including Marion Ferrari, Nichole Koerner and Jon Meder.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL. 60416 with Deacon William Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Round Grove Cemetery in Reddick.
