Joann Klover
(August 13, 1937 - December 25, 2011)

Joann Klover, 74, of Coal City, IL passed away after a brief battle with cancer, on Sunday, December 25, 2011 At Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. She was born on August 13, 1937 at Morris Hospital, Morris IL to the late Anton and Rosella Manietta. Joann married Richard Klover on December 8, 1957 and lived her entire life in Coal City.

Joann was a housewife and worked at Diamond Bros Furniture, Coal City, and APSA, Joliet until she became a mother to Kelly in 1969. Later she worked at the Joliet Stockyards, Morris Country Club, and Donald L. Cordano and Assoc., Joliet. She retired in January 2006 and enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren. She loved watching her grandsons play sports and going shopping with her daughter. She also liked to go to the reading workshop and listen to her grandsons read. Joann is a member of the Assumption Catholic Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Kelly(Jason) Dearth of Coal City; four grandsons, Dylan, Dane, Drake and Devin Dearth; three brothers, Ray(Betty) Manietta, A.J.(late Suzanne) Manietta, John(Mary) Manietta; one sister Rosann Manietta, all of Coal City; two sister-in-laws, Susan Martin, Sugarland TX and Anne(lateCarl) Manietta of Coal City, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, one daughter Maria Klover, and three brothers, Lawrence, Joseph, and Carl(Lois) Manietta.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 31st from Ferrari Funeral Services at 9:30 am to The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church for a 10 am mass of Christian burial. Father Robert Noesen will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Braidwood. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8pm and Saturday from 8:30-9:30am at Ferrari Funeral Services(corner of Spring Rd. and Ferrari Dr.)in Coal City.
