Jenada L. Kambic (nee Vilt)
Jenada L. Kambic, 47 of New Port Richey, Florida passed away peacefully on the morning of
Friday January 8, 2016, at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey, Florida with her
husband, sisters, and brother at her side.
Jenada was born in Joliet, Illinois on March 15, 1968. She was the fourth
child, and third daughter, of Carol (Fudge) and Donald (Puggy) Vilt. She grew
up in Braceville, Illinois, attending Braceville schools, graduated from
Gardner-South Wilmington High School in 1986, and attended Joliet Junior
College. Jenada was married to her husband of nearly 19 years, Daniel Kambic,
on March 8, 1997, at the Little Chapel of the West in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jenada was an amazing person, with a great sense of humor, who loved her family,
her pets, music, and most of all life. She enjoyed spending time adventuring at
theme parks, zoos, or anywhere the day led, as long as she was together with her
family. Even when faced with adversity, her resolve remained strong, driven by
her love of family and life. Jenada touched all those she encountered in her
journey with her victories, strength, kindness, humor, and always with a
positive outlook and a smile, regardless of challenges at hand. Countless
family members, friends, and people who crossed paths with Jenada have said she
is the strongest and bravest person they had ever met.
Jenada is survived by her husband, Daniel Kambic; two sons, Blake (17) and Maxwell
(14) Kambic; her parents Donald and Carol Vilt of Braceville, IL; her siblings
Terry Dailey of Cookville, TX, Donald Vilt Jr (Sue) of Plainfield, IL, and Gina
Clover (Bill) of Coal City, IL; her grandmother in-law Carlene Kambic of
Joliet, IL; and nephews and nieces Ryan Clover, Kristy Gerrish, Ross Clover,
Carol Jean Klegman, Shane Lundberg, Jessica Vilt, Zachary Vilt, and Anthony
Cabrera. also survived by her many pets: Sammy, Nacho, Tyson, and Jeffery to
name a few.
Jenada was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents William and Frances
(Zelinko) Vilt, step-grandmother Leila (Mason) Vilt, maternal grandparents
George and Maida Young of California, and by her mother in-law Cathy (Kambic)
Shields.
A memorial service will be held for Jenada L. Kambic on Saturday January 23, 2016
at 4:00 pm at Ferrari Funeral Services (corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive) in Coal City
with Reverend Mark Hughey officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at
4:00 p.m.
