Jason Dean Hooper, at age 45 passed away at 5:45p.m. January 25, 2016 in Effingham, IL.
He was born June 11, 1970 in Colorado Springs, CO. to Jennifer Pearson and Gary Hooper.
Jason is survived by his wife Stephanie Hooper, his daughter Haley Hooper, his son Ryan Hooper, his sisters Grace Wright and Monica O'Loughlin and his brothers Charlie Pearson and Kappie Pearson as well as his mother, Jennifer and step father Darrel Pearson, and his father Gary and stepmother Maria Hooper.
After living in Wilmington, IL for 18 years Jason and his family moved to Effingham, IL. in 2013. Jason worked for Jansen Cable Construction Inc. (JCCI) as the Project Manager for the past 3 years.
Jason's hobbies consisted of hunting, fishing, coaching soccer and providing his father with a multitude of panic attacks. Known to many as an extraordinary man with a charismatic personality, you couldn't help but smile when you were in his company. He was a beloved Son, Husband, Father and Friend.
Jason's body will be an Anatomical Gift donation to the Washington University Medical School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.
Funeral service for Jason will be held at Ferrari Funeral Services (corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive) in Coal City, IL. on Saturday, January 30th at 2:00 p.m. with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Per Jason's request, anyone who is attending the service is asked to wear something colorful instead of black. We are celebrating the life of a beautiful man, please dress for the occasion.
