James (Jim) Testa 76, of Morris and Formerly of Coal City died Saturday June 26, 2010 at the Heritage Manor in Dwight IL. He was born on August 14, 1933 in Eileen Illinois to the late Joseph and Bridgid Testa. He Married Arlette (Lettie) Taiclet in France and and together they lived in Coal City until recently moving to Morris.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1957. Coal City High School graduate class of 1951, He retired from commonwealth Edison, was a member of the American Legion, IBEW, and life member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

He is survived by his loving wife Arlette, two daughters JoEllen (Larry) Fish of Seneca, and Claudette (Frank) Schmitt of Morris, 3 grandchildren Jonelle Price, Chris Fish both of Morris, and Jake Schmitt of Coal City. Two Great-grandchildren Daniel Rotta Jr. and Marley Price, Brother John (Linda) Testa of Overland Park KS. , a sister Lorraine Cody of Creve Coure Mo. Also survived by brothers and sisters in laws Rose Testa of Montgomery, Roger ( Irene) Taiclet, Jean (Marguerite) Taiclet, George (Louise) Taiclet, Francis (Anne Marie) Taiclet and Claudette (Marin) Grappegia all of France, an Aunt Muriel Testa of Wilmington, IL , and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents , a brother Joseph Testa Jr. , two brothers in laws Edward Cody, and Robert (DeDee) Taiclet.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday June 30, 2010 at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel. Father Robert Noeson will officiate with interment in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
