James N. Drumm, 95, of Coal City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Manteno Veteran's Home in Manteno.

James was born July 23, 1921 in Karbers Ridge, IL. to the late Elmer and Elva (Baldwin) Drumm. He married Luella Harner on May 29, 1958. He served his country honorably with the United States Army during World War II. He worked at Amoco Chemical until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs.

James is survived by his 3 children: Gary Flutz of Arizona, Rhonda Drumm of Coal City and Jay (Kimberly) Drumm of Morris and siblings Leo Drumm of Grant Park, Ludene (Wes) Harker of Waterloo, IA., and Jake (Shirley) Drumm of Manteno. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Luella on July 5, 1985 and two brothers Bill and Clenard Drumm.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 noon Monday, December 12, 2016 at Ferrari Funeral Chapel (corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive) with Rev. Avery Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Braceville/Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will also be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon.
