Gaye L. Holt 78 of Coal City passes away on Thursday April 1, 2010 at Heritage Manor in Dwight. She was born on December 18, 1931 in Lima Ohio to the late Theodore and Sophia Reed.

Gaye enjoyed Hummingbirds, cooking, and crocheting

She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years Owen Holt, two daughters, Charlotte (Don) Hoffman of Windsor, IL. Diane (Brian) Crawford, of Coal City,
Four grandchildren Stephanie (Ron) Stockman , Kristin (Mike ) Kurdenok , Adam Hoffman, Amie (Chris) Clarke , two great grandchildren , Owen Kurdenok, and Morgan Stockman, A sister , Irene (John) Austin, A Brother Theodore Reed Jr. And numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Geraldine.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday April 5, 2010 at 7:00pm at The Ferrari Funeral Chapel in Coal City, Pastor Tom Ferguson of the 7th day Adventists church will officiate. Visitation will also be on Monday from 5:00pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at Ferrari Funeral Services (corner of spring rd and Ferrari Drive) Coal City.
