Edward Bolsega. 78, of Goose Lake , passed away early Tuesday morning, September 8, 2009 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born November 14, 1930 in Chicago to the late Stanley and Helen (Pulkuska) Bolsega. He was raised in Chicago graduating from Harrison High School. Edward married Dolores Katkus on April 7, 1951 at St. Michael's Church in Chicago. They were in love for 64 years. They lived in the Morris area for the last 15 years.

Edward is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dolores, his daughters Cindy (Jay) Muller of Chicago, Il.and Vicki Bolsega of Long Beach, Ca. Also surviving is his granddaughter Cate Muller of Milwaukee, Wisc, a brother John (Theresa) Bolsega of Brookfield, Il. and his nieces Annette (Ed) Slenk of Lemont,Il. And Jeanette Bolsega of Brookfield, Il.

Edward honorably served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a carpenter with the Carpenters Union Local #1. He was a member of the Morris Moose and The American Legion post #294.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, at Ferrari Funeral Services.(corner of Spring Rd. and Ferrari Dr. ) A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday at The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Coal City.
