Dorothy Hill nee Heintz, 93 of Channahon and formerly of Burbank, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Presence Villa Franciscan in Joliet with her family by her side.

She was born May 10, 1925 in Posen, IL. to the late Stanley and Clara (Hilover) Heintz. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Dean Hill Sr. in 1996

Dorothy was a devoted Elvis Presley fan and was a dedicated Walmart employee for many years, working in the women's department until retiring in 2013.

She is survived by her sons Charles (Terry) Hill of Joliet and Dean (Nancy) Hill of Paxton. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, one great grandson on the way, one brother Thomas (Judy) Zimmer of Braidwood and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her sisters: Rosemary Tregoning and Theresa White and brothers Arthur, Stanley and Larry Heintz and Alan Zimmer.

Visitation will be Friday morning, May 25, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel (corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive) in Coal City. Chaplain David Green will officiate. Burial will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
