Dolores Bolsega, age 91, of Morris, IL passed away on Thursday morning, April 14, 2022 at Lake Michigan Senior Living in Ludington, MI.

She was born on March 14, 1931 in Chicago to the late Anton "Duke" and Rose (nee Andreoni) Katkus. She was raised in Chicago, graduating from Harrison High School. Dolores married Edward Bolsega on April 7, 1951 at St. Michael's Church. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her and Edward's two daughters. She and Edward were married for 64 years until his passing in 2009. They lived in the Morris area for the last 15 years of their married life.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Bolsega (Jay) Muller and Vicki Bolsega; her granddaughter, Catherine Muller (Allan) Terhune; her sister-in-law, Theresa Bolsega and her nieces, Annette (Bolsega) Slenk and Jeanette Bolsega. She is also survived by her many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dolores' name may be made to one of her favorite charities,  Guiding Eyes for the Blind, P.O. Box 97007 Washington D.C., 20090-7007 or to Lake Michigan Senior Living 4895 South Lakeshore Drive, Ludington, MI 49431.

Visitation will be on Tuesday morning,  April 19, 2022 at Ferrari Funeral Services (1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, Il. 60416) from 9:30 am until 10:30 am followed by a  funeral procession to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church (215 South Kankakee Street, Coal City, IL 60416) for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Rev. Joshua Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
