Denise Renae (Fry) Payton, age 62, of Coal City, IL. passed away on February 8, 2020 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. A wake will be held at Ferrari Funeral Home, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL. 60416 on February 13, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Coal City United Methodist Church, 6805 E. McArdle Road, Coal City, Il. 60416 on February 14, 2020 at 10:30 am. with Pastor Bradley Shumaker officiating. Denise was born in Rockford, IL. on September 8, 1957 to Dale and Dorothy (Brucher) Fry. Denise graduated from Eastridge High School, Kankakee, IL. and Mesa State College, Grand Junction, CO. with the degree of Associate of Applied Science.

Denise is survived by her husband, James Payton of the home, by a son Dustin Westfall of Grand Junction, CO., a daughter Jaime (Westfall) Bartholomew, husband Brandon of Monessen, PA. Sisters Deborah (Fry) Hain, husband George, Dianne (Fry) Denton, Brothers, Randy Fry, wife Sally, Ron Fry, wife Joyce, Rick Fry, wife Dawn. Stepchildren include daughter Andrea (Payton) McCollough , husband David . Sons Michael Payton, Lawrence Payton and seven grandchildren.

Inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery , Kankakee, IL. at a later date following cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Denise's name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, IL. 60431.
