David Joseph Perona, 71, of Aurora and formerly Coal City , passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018, at Jennings Terrace Nursing Home in Aurora, IL. He was born in Joliet, IL. on February 27, 1947 to the late Joseph and Vivian Perona.

David was educated in Coal City grade and high schools and lived most of his life in Coal City. He was a long time member of the Assumption Catholic Church and particularly enjoyed church and community events.

He is survived by his brother Dale (Mary) Perona, a niece and five nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from Ferrari Funeral Services at 10:30 am to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church for a 11:00 am mass of Christian burial. Father Robert Noesen will officiate. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Ferrari Funeral Services(corner of Spring Rd and Ferrari Drive) in Coal City .
