Darrin Akins 45 of Morris Died Friday August 17, 2012 at his home. He was born on February 02, 1967 in Joliet, IL

He enjoyed fishing, was a car enthusiast, loved spending time outside, and being with hid children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother Bonnie Akins, two daughters Shelby Akins, and Jennifer Spurgeon (Jorge) Flores a son Eric Spurgeon, three grandchildren Christian and Lilliana Flores, and Preston Spurgeon,and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father Allen Akins and Grandmother Delma Akins.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday august 24 at The Christian Life Assembly Church (2960 East Division Street Diamind, IL ) I55 and Rout 113, pastor Derek Gowen will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until the time of service and also after the service until 7:00 pm.
