Cynthia M. Zabelski, age 80 of Tinley Park, IL passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Serenity Estates in Morris.

She was born on October 23, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Michael and Jean (nee Dryjanski) Hoiseck. Cynthia was a loving mother to her four children. She was an experienced baker for her family with cookies and carmel brownies being her specialties, especially at Christmas time. She liked crocheting blankets for those she loved. In earlier days, Cynthia enjoyed dancing at her local Irish spot.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas Moore, Brian (Royann) Moore and Scott (Sue) Moore; four grandchildren, Brian (Katie) Moore, Steph (Scott) Roberts, Sara (Mitch) Alimorong and Sammy Moore; five great-grandchildren, Jada Moore, Peyton Moore, Benjamin Roberts, Audrey Roberts and Oliver Alimorong. Also surviving is a son-in-law, Michael Dyess and a sister-in-law, Madeleine Hoiseck.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Victoria Dyess and her brother, Michael Hoiseck.

Cremation rites will be accorded. As were Cynthia’s wishes, there will be no services.
