Clarence Robert Jennings Jr. "Jr." Passed away on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at his home in Coal City. He was born on October 5, 1927 to the late Clarence Robert Sr. and Emma (Randolph) Jennings, in Joliet, IL.

He was a member of The Montgomery IL VFW. , Magnolia Chapter of The Eastern Star, Midwest chapter of The Merchant Marines, Mazon, IL Masons , Mohammed Shrine Peoria, IL, The Morris Shriners Club , and The Lake point Club of Wilmington. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and people in general.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty (Bickert) Jennings, two daughters Karen (David) Abraham, and Donna (Sam ) Merritt, two sisters Carol (Dale) Slatton, and Fern Clemens, four grandchildren, Philip (Dana) Abraham, Susan (Dan) Lavelle, Christopher and Emilee Prince, four great grandchildren , Lydia, and Morgan Abraham, Molly Rynearson, and Wrenn Lavelle, brother and sister in laws Robert and Darlene Highbaugh, and Jerry and Mike Smith, Larry Koca, and Evelyn Jennings and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a son Mark Jennings, a daughter Susan Jennings, his parents, four brothers Chester, Allan, Joseph, and Rodney Jennings a sister Janet Lindquist, and a sister in law Marie Shipla,

Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be in Willard Grove Cemetery in Channahon.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 10, 2010 from 1:00 -4:00pm at the Clubhouse of Country place Apartments 1201 South Country Place Court (corner of spring road and country place ct.)
