Christine Benson 62, of Wilmington, IL and formerly of Chicago, passed away on Monday April 4, 2011 at The Morris Hospital she was born on December 12, 1948 in Elmhurst, IL.

She was an avid gardener enjoyed fishing and loved animals.

Survived by a daughter Patricia T. (Dean) Naples, three grandsons Brett, Ryan and James, six brothers and sisters Carrie (Barry) Highbloom, Barry Fifield, Ellen (Don) Krubsack, Susan Collins and (Fred), Lauren (John) Kopkowski, and Neil Fifield, and her companion George Logan,

She was preceded in death by a son Scott Victor Benson, her mother Patricia Ann Fifield, a sister Patricia Nan (Al) Hamilton, and husband Leroy Moran, and a granddaughter Haley Laine Benson.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 on Friday April 8, 2011 at The Ferrari Funeral Chapel, with interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood at 11:30 am. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 -8:00 pm at Ferrari Funeral Services (corner of Spring rd and Ferrari Drive) in Coal City.
