Chloe Grace Francisco, age 16, of Coal City, IL. passed away Wednesday morning, May 31, 2017 at Morris Hospital from natural causes.

She was born February 16, 2001 in Maywood, IL. to Chris and Kori (nee Meglan) Francisco. She recently finished her sophomore year at Coal City High School. Her Mom wrote the following to describe her:

"Our Chloe Grace was nicknamed Scrappy because everything that was thrown at her and the many obstacles she faced she always came out on top and usually with her signature smile in place. She inspired many without ever having spoken a word and was loved by family, friends, and strangers near and far. Her reach was unattainable by most people and that is what made her so unbelievably special. Chloe attended a special school in Joliet for 10 years and her last year transferred here to Coal City High School and we loved to hear the stories of her fellow students who cared so much for her and always asked about her when she was not there. Chloe loved being outside and enjoyed the numerous vacations we were able to go on and even was able to travel in style twice to Florida in a RV where we always had a room with a view just for her and of course her toes in the sand. She was so incredibly loved."

Chloe is survived by her parents Chris and Kori Francisco of Coal City; her sisters Averi and Hayden; grandparents Ray and Cindy Meglan and Cheri (Jerry Gordon) Francisco all of Seneca, IL. ; great-grandparents Sharon (Ron Blake) Rossom of Goose Lake, IL. and Wayne Smith of Seneca; an aunt Kimberly (Jake) Supp of Seneca; uncles Colbee (Tara) Francisco of Ottawa, IL. and Kyle Meglan of Norway, IL.; and cousins Katie, Brenna, Everly, Atleigh and Tyce.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Ronald Francisco and great –grandparents Doris Smith, Robert and Theresa Meglan, Frederick Rossom and Robert Francisco.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Ferrari Funeral Services (corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive). Pastor Caleb Counterman will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral service.
